Dr. Amadeo Atendido also known in Okeene as Dr. A was born in the Phillipeans where his parents encouraged him to enter into the medical field after school. Originally Dr. Atandido looked into specializing in OBGYN but General Surgery was where he became most interested. He enjoys abdominal surgery the most.
Dr. Atendido came to the United States in 1957 where he completed his Internship and Residency in Buffalo, NY. In 1981 he was recruited by Presbyterian Hospital to fill a General Surgeon position at the hospital in Ceiling, OK.
Later a position became available at the Okeene Municipal Hospital and Dr. Atendido graciously agreed to practice in Okeene. Dr. Atendido is currently seeing patients at the Okeene Medical Clinic where is also performs general surgeries.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Atendido enjoys golfing, fine dining, sports and visiting with his family. He has four boys, four girls and 23 grandchildren. Dr. Atendido has one sister and one brother still living in the Philippines.

Dr. Ken Parrott grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma and always had an interested in medicine. Before starting his career in the medical field, Dr. Parrott received a degree in Agriculture. With a choice to continue with his Agricultural degree or enter medical school, Dr. Parrott was advised to pursue his career in medicine.
Dr. Parrott served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany when he took his Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). After serving in the Army, Dr. Parrott attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he graduated in 1977.
Dr. Parrott was a preceptee in Okeene where he had the chance to study with Dr. Williams and Dr. Dotter. After doing his residency in Phenoix, Arizona, Dr. Parrott was compelled to return to Okeene and begin a practice in family medicine in 1980.
Dr. Parrott and his wife JoAnn married in 1969 and have two daughters; Rachel, a Methodist minister in Texhoma and Joelle who works for the Denver Center for Performing Arts.

Dr. Michael Talley attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK and graduated top of the class with a BS in Chemistry and Biology in 1975. From there he attended the University of Oklahoma Medical School and received his Medical Doctorate in 1979. After medical school, Dr. Talley spent his Residency at Texas Tech in Amarillo, TX in Family Practice in 1982 then completed his Internship at Texas Tech in 1980.
Dr. Tally began his practice at the Okeene Medical Clinic in 1982 where he continues to practice family medicine. Along with his numerous physician duties, Dr. Talley also served on the Okeene Hospital Board of Directors, was Chief of Staff of Okeene Hospital, Medical Director for the Blaine County Health Department, Medical Director of CCA Diamondback Correctional Facility, OSMA Board of Trustees, Vice President of OCVO and Associate Faculty of the Oklahoma University Department of Family Physicians.
Dr. Talley is married to Eugenia and they have three sons.

Dr. Duane Lagan graduated from Enid High School in 1950 and continued his education with a Bachelor of Science in Education at Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma in 1954 and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City June of 1964.
He completed his rotating Internship from Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas in 1965. Dr. Lagan’s medical career began in Okeene in 1965 practicing family medicine. Over the years Dr. Lagan has practiced at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma as the Director of Student Health Services and Team Physician; College Station Texas as an Associate Director, Student Health Services and Co-Team Physician for Texas A & M University; Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia as a Staff Physician, Student Health Services and Team Physician.
Dr. Lagan belongs to the American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, National Athletic Trainers Association, Associate Member, Blaine County, Oklahoma State Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
His awards include Bausch and Lombe Science Award, Harry Wilkins Neuroanatomy Award and Alpha Omege Alpha Honor medical Society. Dr. Lagan served in the United States Air Force with a rank of Staff Sergeant from 1954 to 1957. Dr. Lagan and wife Dee have four children; DeeDee, Tim, Lynn and Lee; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Family Practice - Women's Health
Dr. Latricia Arnold has joined the Okeene Medical Clinic as a Family Practice Physician with a focus on Women’s Health and Osteopathic Manipulation. Dr. Arnold was raised in Calera, Oklahoma and is committed to improving the health of her patients. She is dedicated to providing individualized medical care to Okeene and surrounding communities.
Dr. Arnold received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1978 with Honors. In 1988 she returned to college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah and the University Center at Tulsa receiving a second major for her Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry and a third major in Secondary Education. In May of 1988 Dr. Arnold received her Oklahoma teacher’s Certification for Biology, Chemistry, Botany, General Science, Physical Science, Physics, and Anatomy & Physiology.
Dr. Arnold received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery on May 13, 2000 from Oklahoma State University college of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa before completing her internship in 2001 at the Riverside Health System in Wichita, KS. From 2001 to 2003 she completed her Family Practice Residency program at the OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and her second year of residency at the OU/Enid Family Practice Residency Program in Enid, OK. Dr. Arnold completed her Family Practice Residency program on October 2006 at the AHEC Family Practice Residency in Pine Bluff, AR.
Dr. Arnold feels her greatest accomplishment is raising three children to productive adulthood despite life’s challenges. In 2006 she met her husband Alton and together they enjoy spending time together and they both look forward to getting to know the residents of Okeene and becoming a member of the community.

Womens Health & Diabetes
Amy Williams joined the Okeene Medical Clinic in February 2008 after graduation in 2007 from the University of Oklahoma with a Physician Assistant Certificate.
Amy grew up in Louisiana and moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma during her sophomore year in high school. “I am fascinated with medicine and love the aspect of putting pieces together to come up with a diagnosis. There is such a big need for medical care and I look forward to making my contribution,” said Amy.
Diabetes and womens health are two areas Amy has pursued further by attending additional educational classes and clinics.
Amy’s main hobby right now is scrap booking when she has the chance and spending time with her husband, dog and family. Amy’s husband is currently a caseworker for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children at the Boys Ranch Town in Edmond and has completed his MBA.
Amy is currently seeing patients at the Okeene Medical Clinic, Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00.
