Heart Prevention Presentation


On Tuesday, February 26, The Okeene Hospital along with Senior Life Solutions presented a Community Education opportunity at the Okeene Hospital. February is National Heart Month, and having a heart disease prevention presentation seemed appropriate!

Debbie Coulter RN BSN, Senior Life Solutions program director, put on a wonderful presentation in which members of the Okeene Hospital staff spoke. Dr. Mike Talley gave the heart disease presentation while Tammy FIscher RN spoke about the new cardiac monitoring equipment at the hospital. Several good questions were asked by the audience and the snacks were yummy.

Thank you to everyone who participated! Community Education is key in disease prevention.
