Okeene Hospital Receives Gold Award For Quality Improvement

The Okeene Municipal Hospital Receives the TMF Hospital Quality Improvement Gold Award.
The TMF Hospital Quality Improvement Award program recognizes three tiers of winners for their performance on specific outcome measures: Gold, Silver and Bronze. The program includes criteria for Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems (IPPS) Acute Care Value Based Purchasing (VBP) Eligible Hospitals, IPPS hospitals ineligible for (VBP) and Critical Access Hospitals (CAH). The criteria include quality data reporting measures and readmissions measures.
The requirements of the award include improving the quality of care for patients through reliable delivery of inpatient and outpatient services and maximized use of effective care management strategies. Also to recognize high-performing hospitals for their continued focus on quality improvement, and align with the quality improvement efforts of TMF Health Quality Institute and state hospital associations.
The Okeene Hospital was one of four hospitals rewarded in the state of Oklahoma.
