Outpatient Wound Care

Our outpatient wound care clinic provides individualized treatment for patients with chronic or non-healing wounds. Whether caused by diabetes, poor circulation, surgery, or injury, we specialize in helping wounds heal safely and effectively. Our team uses the latest wound care techniques and evidence-based therapies to promote healing, prevent infection, and improve comfort — all close to home.

Inpatient & Swing Bed Wound Care

For patients requiring extended recovery or skilled nursing, our inpatient and swing bed programs provide 24/7 care and specialized wound management under Dr. Howe’s direction. Each patient receives a customized plan of care designed to support healing, rehabilitation, and overall recovery.

Convenience: Same day availability for most services. Little to no waiting time.

Services: Our laboratory professionals use specialized instrumentation and techniques to analyze patients' samples, such as blood, urine, and other body fluids. Onsite departments include: General Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, and Immunoassay. All staff are experienced and certified in their respective fields.

Radiology technicians use the latest X-Ray and CT technologies to acquire diagnostic images.

Mobile MRI and Ultrasound are scheduled services available at Okeene Hospital.

A native of rural southwest Kansas and a 2001 Graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Medicine, Dr. Schultz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with special interests in endoscopy and gastroenterological related illnesses. He currently sees patients at Okeene Municipal Hospital.
